dumbledor's army was a defense against group made for the student's of hogwarts in Harry Potter's 5th year. since harry's new defense teacher, professor umbrage, was h-hjm, "ill-prepared" for the job, harry and his friends took things into their own hands to educate his classmates about stopping the ultimate threat, voldemort.the name came from a sugestion from harry's on and off girlfriend, cho chang. the real name, however, came from Ginny weasley. it is usually shortened to "D.A."

This is why when the list of the people who where in the club gets found by Fudge, Dumbledore, unsuccessfully, gets arrested for the creation instead of Harry.
The name Order of the Phoenix comes from a group of people that dumbledor made to fight against You Know Who (Lord Volermort). Dolores Umbridge becomes the new defence the dark arts teacher and tries get rid of dumbledor. Harry starts to make up his own dumbledors army and gets caught out by Umbridge.
When Harry sees the younger Dumbledore 50 years earlier in Tom Riddle's memory, he is described as having "long, sweeping auburn hair," so sort of a reddish brown.
