Neutral countries such as spain and norway (not sure it might be sweden or both) were often targets for refugees because there was no fighting going on there.
Life was sad and scary because you might not be able to see your family any more.

The evacuees usually escaped from the large cities to the countryside and stayed their for the remainder of the war, and then they were re-united with the rest of their family.

The name of the child, their school and a group name/number. They had a label for their suitcase and a label for their coat, to attach to themselves. I am trying to find out what information was on the reverse of the label i.e. where they were going to, etc.
