How was life before the americanfrench and glorious revolution?

life was very difficult as the federalis and the anti-federalist were up at eachothers neck with how the constitution should be made, if the Govt should have too much power or if the states should have a stronger say than the Govt. not all the famous people who signed it were on the same side and many felt differently as to how the Govt. should be, eventually after much debate, a comprimise came to be and he constitution was born. note, george washington was the first president after th constitution. peyton randolph, henry middleton, john hancock*henry laurens and john jay all held positions similar to presidency.
