Night time in trenches wasn't typically very pleasant; as well as it being near impossible for soldiers to get any sleep due to itchiness caused by lice, rats would also scamper over them all through the night and temperatures would drop to below freezing.
Also, the soldiers would very rarely have a bed to sleep in; they slept in dugouts made in trenches to protect them from enemy raids and they would usually sleep on something hard and/or muddy.
Sometimes, certain groups of soldiers would have to lead raids, and they usually resulted in death on both sides; the ratio of death German to British would depend on how successful the raid had been.
^I hope this helps!
most of them suffered from shell shoc
No. Trenches were used in wars as far back as history is recorded. Trenches were used in the Revolutionary war in the US. Some of these trenches can still be seen at the scene of some battlefields such as Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Yorktown Virginia.
you could't get any food into the trenches because it took along time to get to the trenches and also it got very moldy and wet due to the harsh conditions there
for look the position is used the photography and some time bombs
they were called long time stays because they were planning on ataying for a long time
Yes. Under the circumstances of World War 1, they were the only good idea. The trenches were miserable to live in, but they were also the only way to remain alive.

In WW I the soldiers spent most of their time in trenches. It was very muddy.
We have night so the rest of the world can have day.

Trech? is a lower level digged during war in a flat ground for being in the "safe zone" It was very bad living in a trech. Most people died. It was very boring living in trenches, discomfort.Soliders lived on the fear of being killed. Some trenches were more dangerous because of their position but others were less and the soldiers even enjoyed a good night laugh and some time to relax. The soldiers had to cope with extreme weather. If it rained they were soacked. Hope I helped <source: a world study after 1900>
You had to be 15 to start your training and by the time your 16 you were sent to the trenches.
It was bad, the men would be unable to change or move around very much for weeks at a time, since it was rainy cold and damp, soldiers would be standing and sitting in mud and their boots would be damp all the time causeing their skin to rot and fungus to grow, causeing pain and in some cases amputation. These trenches also had rats that would be there in the trenches who caused sicknesses.
The world could any time. We just have to be prepared.
The first world war was fought in the trenches as when the two sides meat, no side was Strong enough to in a short period of time win in some areas, so fighting was sustained over a long period of time, a new tactic was called digging in or trenches, this offered shelter and protection and housed soliders for the long period of fighting. therefore they used trenches so soliders could keep ground, have shelter, have a line of defense and a barrier against the opposition
He rewinds time back so night time is longer
they studied most of the time
No, unlike World War 1, World War two was fought more in the streets and forests. Although many times once a side would dig in they would usually make fox holes more often then trenches because fox holes were quiker to make and were usually affective. The Germans made the first real advancment away from trench warfare with their blitzkreig or "lightning war", it was a tactic to use fast moving tanks, planes, and troop carries to sweep across a country before they could mount ant type of effective defense. So, no the larger majorit of World War two was not fought in trecnhes.
