Russia during Nikita Checkhov's time was a lot different to Russia under the Tsar's rule or Lenin's or Stalin's. He destalinised the whole of Russia. The whole of the western side of the world thought that he might be different to Stalin and change communism however he proved them wrong. Chekhov was the first Russian in power to set foot on American land. But all in all Russia was different once Stalin died and Chekhov came into power.
No, it wasn't.
During that time period Russia was a Communist nation.
There was no president in Russia at this time. Russia has only had presidents since 1991. The Holocaust was in the 1940s.

well the ww2 carried on during this period of time....
Winston Churchill was , during WW2 , was the Prime Minister of Great Britain whereas Stalin was the leader of Russia during the same time period .
The loose agreement was signed by Alexander III, in the 1870's, while Nicholas II, the last tsar of Russia (1894-1917) ruled during the rest of the triple entente period and during the entire time during which Russia went to war under this alliance.
He was tsar and a tsar is one person ruling over a country. So Stalin was like a king of U.S.S.R. that time. :D
The army of Russia was called the red army during world war two. and the leader of Russia at the time was their dictator Joseph Stalin
Russia left the war before its end during their revolution because Lenin couldn't at the same time deal with a civil war inside Russia and at the same time in the Great War. Therefore when the Allies met they did not allow Russia to take part in the decisions since it already made a separate treaty with Germany during the war and left it.
