The Nazi's (Hitler) wanted to take over the world. They first invaded Poland and then other countries joined both sides. Many people died and terrible things happenend. Stalin (Russian leader) also didn't want to take risks and killed many just to protect his country and many other countries did the same.

So yeah... I'm Russian, a future Wilsonian and I answer like a god eating bacon!

Let us not forget the attempted wholesale elimination of an entire ethnic group - the Jews.
