It was a trail between north and South Vietnam. it went from north to south through Laos and Cambodia at some parts.

it was used mostly for the northern army(Viet Minh) to transport food and weapons back and forth between the north and the south. it was also a way into the south that wasn't patrolled by the south. The Ho Chi Minh Trail was a logistical system for support that ran between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
