There is no shred of hard evidence saying this, just a lot of second or third hand stories. While the Americans had broken a Japanese diplomatic code, information on the attack was not sent in this code. All the Japanese would have had to do to short-circuit such a scheme, is *not* attack Pearl Harbor.
