When the Romans dominated most of the Mediterranean and much of Europe, they kept a political order that was called a "peace". When the Romans instituted Christianity as the state religion, it spread with the Roman Empire.
Emperor Augustus restored (or established) stability in the Roman territories, effectively changing the rather unstable Roman Republic into the more stable Roman Empire (although it was still called a republic). He ruled from 27 BC to 14 AD, which puts his reign during the time Jesus was born.
Augustus also set the borders of the Empire, and these stayed almost unchanged for about a hundred years. Apart from disputes about the succession that happened after the death of Nero in AD 68, the last of ruler from Augustus' family, and was settled with the rise of Vespasian in AD 69, the Roman world was in peace for the first century.
This peace created conditions which facilitated the initial spread of Christianity throughout the Roman world. There was also relative peace on the border with the neighbouring Parthian kingdom during the same period. It is likely that the gospel was taken into that region as well, at least as far as Upper Mesopotomia (now called by the traditional Arabic name of Al-Jazira), although literary evidence is slight for action in this region.
Romania hasn't contributed to the spread of Christianity.
The Pax Romana did not promote the spread of Christianity. It was a period of relative political stability in the empire and was not connected to religion. At the end of this period, Christianity was still a small religion with a limited following.
The Pax Romana (Roman Peace) did not affect the spread of Christianity. If anything it helped it because it is a term historians have coined to indicate a period of relative political stability in the Roman empire from 27 BC to 180 AD.

After the Pax Romana there were still the same religions as before. Each ethnic group in the empire still had its own religion. Christianity was already around during the period of the Pax Romana. The Mithraic Mysteries, a cult which became popular after this period, had already reached the Roman Empire from Persia in the 1st century A.D. Manichaeism, another religion from Persia, spread around the Roman Empire after the Pax Romana
