My Best Decision! Deciding to get married to my wife! Yes, of course, I am happily married for 42 years, but deciding to get married to my wife Freda was a "considerate" process. Let me explain that process. Having been trained as a psychologist I knew that the idea of "falling in love' was no more than a Hollywood creation and that "alikeness" was a much better criterea for establishing a lasting relationship. Therefore I looked for instances of the two of us being alike. We both belonged to a minority culture with predominant European themes. We both were outspoken, up-front with our opinions and had similar cultural interests. Of course, we liked each other but, I suspect, for qualities that complemented our own.
