It was warm in the summers, and sometimes got EXTREMELY cold during winters. But it varied depending on which season and how up north or down south you were, so pretty much a cool climate varying to warm and cold.
The weather was more windy and cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. Please note this is from my past knowledge.

Their children were taken away from their parents and sent to boarding schools so the children did not have a chance to learn culture from their parents. Also many Native Americans were forced to move to reservations which had different plants, animals and even climate from what they were used to.
