They were ignorant of religon and oppressed and uneducated
As a religion, it is unclear what "Islam's role" is on the matter. As concerns the clerics in Saudi Arabia, they are usually the most vocal opponents of any increase or growth of women's rights.
It's a part of their religion and in Saudi Arabia every religion except Islam is banned by the law.
women was treated badly by men before Islam they were treated like lower servant
The dominant form of Islam in Saudi Arabia is Wahabi. This is a much stricter and more conservative version of Islam, and some of its customs (not allowing women to drive, for example) are at odds with other denominations of Islam.
Yes they have . _____________________________________ Islam is the first God religion that assured Women human rights; even before the UN.
a lot of books have been written on this topic,in short : Islam introduces the concept of Law and state to the people of Arabia,Islam introduces them with norms of culture and civilization,Islam introduces the concept of Human rights ,women rights ,children rights ,labour rights ,animal rights and list goes on and on.....Its not that only Arabia get benefited from the Islam the whole of modern civilization and laws traces their roots to Islam
No Women in Saudi Arabia are banned from voting As a matter of fact, it is one of very few remaining countries where women still cannot vote
The first and most important advantage is that the dresses are in compliance with Islam teachings and rules. Man and women dressing is more suitable in Saudi Arabia for the over year hot weather in Saudi Arabia.
Sex change is not permissible of the person has complete male or female sexual organs. However it is allowed if you carry both male and female sexual organs (Hermaphrodite). What Islam says about Transsexuals is that it will be very difficult to tell men from women before the return of Christ. So in summary its wrong and unheard of unless you have a medical condition.
This point is probably arguable. Different Islamic countries have different interpretations. In fundamentalist Islamic countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia, certainly not.
They never did. Saudi Arabia is mainly concerned with a version of Islam that is solely disturbed by women and how they should cover their bodies and hair; you see Saudi clerics all day long on TV preaching this and not that; how it is an awful sin to fornicate, etc., but they don't really base anything on real Islamic laws, they never talk about democracy or human rights or how a folk should choose its own leader. Their Islam is: Cover the woman. Real Islam is: Be a good person. Don't hate. Saudi Arabia couldn't be further from Islam, it is basically applying its own version.
women and girls are not evil in islam, women have a high status in islam, they are like the backbone of the religion with high and important role
