The United States Constitution was the document that established the Federal system of government. The US Constitution was, in its time, a revolutionary document that recognized the freedoms of its citizens. At the time of its ratification, most of the world's established countries did not have the freedoms the the US Constitution recognized.
It just is a government that has a constitution, is republic, and democratic at the same time.

No, the Constitution doesn't say it, but the Declaration of Independence does. U.S. Government has failed to protect our rights and it is time to take back our rights and replace this government with one that will protect our rights.
The U.S Constitution was a product of it's time, because it is so well established and covers everything the government and human race needed to settle on rights and politics and the governmental system, that it was worth all the time it took to create the constitution. - Victoria
The word Federalism does not appear even once in the Constitution. At the time, the founding fathers essentially created a unique type of government and so it is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution.
