In fact such move was sponsored by American ambassador in Mexico, Henry Lane Wilson. He personally worked to increment the already-existing frictions between Mexico and the US.

The government was a weak one and couldn't do much. The people however, reacted violently to this usurpation of power, triggering the second phase of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1921).

At first, it was a mild surprise as Madero had been elected democratically but suffered from a weak leadership. However, it became utter shock after president Woodrow Wilson found out Huerta had both Madero and his Vice-president assassinated (on a very gruesome manner) in 1913. The situation became worse when president Wilson was informed that the American ambassador in Mexico, Henry Lane Wilson, had co-conspired with Huerta to stage such coup d'etat. These actions extended the Mexican Revolution for another 8 years, and resulted in many more deaths, as well as putting Mexico and the United States on the brink of war.

How is a drugs side effect different from the drugs effect?

e.g weed. effect: gets you high side effect: cancer the drugs effect is the intentional effect of the drug. the side-effect is the unintentional effect. eg: pain medication's effect is to ease pain.. it's side-effect is that it often times will make you dizzy. you're not taking it to get dizzy, you're taking it to eliminate pain. therefor the dizziness is the side-effect.
