1.Robert Clive, the British commander in the battle, was appointed as the Governor General of Bengal. He forced Shah Alam and Shuja-ud-Daulah to sign treaties of Allahabad.
2. Shuja-ud-Daulah, Mir Qasim and Shah Alam were engaged in wars against the Company's army at Buxar. But they were defeated by the East India Company.
3. The British got the right to collect land revenue i.e. Diwani of Bengal, Orissa and Bihar.
