Jutland in 1916 is the only major conflict at sea. On land there are many: Tannenberg & the Masurian Lakes in what is now Poland. In the west there is Ypres, the Somme & Verdun. In northern Italy there are the 11 battles of the Isonzo including Caporetto, where a young Wurtemberger called Erwin Rommel makes a name for himself.
