The Stamp Act was basically where they put a manican representing the British mailer who provided goods from England, and the threw rocks, sharp items, etc. This was because they weren't necessarily happy with what the British have been taxing them on. They've been taxing pretty much everything that came from Britain. This was because it was after the French and Indian war, in which was 7 years long. Thus, the King lost countless amounts of money, and he needed more. So, he started taxing from the colonies. This is one of the acts that started the American Revolution.
