Life, The Universe, and Everything 4. So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish 5 Mostly Harmless Some also consider the short story "Young Zaphod Plays It Safe" to be part of the trilogy, but it really affect the story in no way whatsoever, it just shares the same universe. "The Salmon Of Doubt; Hitchhiking The Galaxy One Last Time" is also not a part of the "Trilogy".
