It's called the Northbridge Chipset. It's a memory controller hub that handles communication between the CPU, memory, PCI cards, and AGP cards. The term came from the position/location of the Northbridge Chipset on the Motherboard. being placed "north" of the CPU. It communicates to the CPU via the "Front Side Bus" (FSB)

Many. The questions first word "which" implies that a single component would be a correct answer but there are thousands of components and dozens of component types on a computer motherboard.

The video system
No because the very first component in the power supply is a transformer, which makes for it being an inductive load.
Silicon or Si which is the most basic component of all processors was discovered in 1823. The first ever microprocessor was invented in 1971.
The component that is involved in every activity of a computer system would be the processor. It is sometimes referred to as the brain of the computer, or some people call it the General in the army of computer parts, it is the first to start and the last to be spoilt, it does all the 'Thinking ' (processing of information) of a computer system.
Just add each of the corresponding components - the first component with the first component, the second component with the second component, etc. Here is an example. A = (5, 7), B = (-3, 2). Adding each component, you get: A + B = (5 + (-3), 7 + 2) = (2, 9).
