When was the first Egyptian pyramid built?
It was built during the third dynasty, which was around 2630 or 2750b.c. The earliest known Egyptian pyramid is the Pyramid of Djoser or Step Pyramid, which was built about 2667 to 2648 BC near Memphis, Egypt. It was designed by Imhotep, and is the oldest known and possibly the first large-scale structure built of cut stone.
