"Stay Gold Ponyboy." Johnny Cade said it. :)
The characters LOVED Johnny in the book, The Outsiders. Ponyboy said Johnny reminded him of an abused, lost puppy. The gang considered Johnny their pet, and gave him the nickname "Johnnycake". He also was the only thing Dally Winston(I think that's his last name) loved.
When Ponyboy and Johnny ran away to the church. They had to cut their hair and bleach it to disguise them selves. And after Johnny cut Ponyboys, he was bout to cut his own hair , and he said no Johnny , don't cut your hair , but he did anyway
He did not wanna talk about Johnny and said it was him because he thought Johnny was still alive and did not want johnny in trouble
To get rid of all of the pain inside himself and because ponyboy isn't thinking straight.
Because Johnny stood up to Dally and Cherry said Ponyboy and Johnny look too sweet.
Ponyboy said "You'd better just shut your trap Johnnycakes, because you ain't wanted at home neither." to Johnny because Johnny said that Pony and Darry get along just fine.
Actually Two-Bit said that.
She hopes she will never see Dallas again because if she does she will fall in love with him.
You see, Dallas and Two-bit. They wanted to bust a joint. Ponyboy wasn't down with this, so he had sex with a lalmingo. jonhy tells pony to stay gold because he wants pony to fufill his life without having the title juvinile dilinquent.
Ponyboy and Johnny are two of the main characters, and best friends, in the novel "The Outsiders." What Ponyboy means in this quote is that he and Johnny know each other so well that nothing needs to be said for the two to know what the other is thinking.
Cherry said that she might actually fall in love with Dally and that she never sees him again
