The Holocaust was motivated by ethnic selfishness. The Nazis figured that they could murder all the Jews of Europe, blame the Jews for all the problems in the world, and then steal everything that the Jews owned, to their own great enrichment. Even the bodies of murdered Jews were a source of profit. Some people had gold fillings in their teeth, some people had long hair that could be sold to wig makers, fat could be used to make soap, skin could be used to make leather.
