Do you mean a snake or a car. The Cobra automobile was designed by the late , former racing driver Carrol Shelby ( a man), Shelby worked out a compromise design between the British AC automobile company which accounted for the British lines, and the Ford Motor company, which supplied the engines. the phrase ( Cobra by Ford) is not strictly speaking, accurate. There were also Shelby-Cobra mustangs which were heated-up regular mustangs using Ford 427 engines. I do not recall any Cobras ( serpentine variety) from that show. the lead character, a female detective ( played by the late Anne Francis)- had an Ocelot named Bruce, as a pet and sort of, well service animal. a Cat is not a Cobra. I assume you meant the Cobra automobile.
