In Operation Sea Lion, which was planned to occur in September of 1940, Hitler planned to invade Great Britain, but Hitler cancled the invasion because his plan to achieve air supierority over the skies of Britain had failed. On May 10, 1940, Germany invaded Holland (The Netherlands), with a decisive German victory. Hitler also invaded Belgium and Luxembourg in Case Yellow which also involved the invasion of Holland.
