In 1919 Hitler joined the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei(DAP, German Workers' Party)
The party that Hitler joined in 1919 was called the German Workers' Party (Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, DAP). It later became known as the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, NSDAP) or Nazi Party.
Adolf Hitler had fought in the German army during WW1 and had attained the rank of a corporal. In 1919, he joined a small political group called "German Workers Party" , which was based in Munich. Soon he became its leader and changed its name to "Nationalist Social Party" or "Nazi party".
Many historians believe that Hitler wanted to join a small group where he would have more influence.
The Nazis were the inner core of the German political system and at their centre were a small group of dedicated individuals who had bought into the 'Mein Kamp' system espoused by Hitler. The core of the party was built around the SA, the SS and the charisma of a few individuals.
After WW1 the Kaiser abdicated and the Weimar Republic was set up. Obviously as a Republic it was a Democratic Government. However, a lot of Germans were not happy with the changes in society and some of these people joined the German Workers' Party (DAP), which was a small party based in Munich. Adolf Hitler at this time was a spy for the German army and was sent to watch this particular party. In time however he came to believe what they believed in and in the next couple of years rose through the ranks to take the lead of this party due to his skills as an orator. Hitler then rallied support, mainly from the white collar workers initially and changed the name of the party to the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). This was the founding of the Nazis.NoteThe change in the name dates from 1920 and took place while Anton Drexler was still the head of the party. Hitler took over the party in 1921. Call of DutyThe nazi party were a political group who wanted to over throw the new German government because they thought they could do a better job of getting Germany back on track than the government.
The party was originally called the "German Workers Party" and it was based in the city of Munich, in southern Germany. It was a small group of right-wing, anti-Semitic German small businessmen and military veterans who disliked how World War I ended (Germany lost the war, was blamed for causing it, and then punished severely). These men would go to a beer hall (like a large pub) and complain about Jews, the government, and the war. After the end of World War I, the German Kaiser ("Emperor") was overthrown and a republic was set up. There were also some attempts by Communists to take control of Germany, so the new government was rightfully nervous about extremist parties, both right-wing and left-wing, trying to overthrow them. Adolf Hitler was a veteran of the German Army during World War I. After the war ended, he stayed with the military. The government ordered him to secretly join the German Workers Party and find out what their plans were. Hitler did as he was told and started hanging out at the beer hall with them. However, he started to agree with the things they were saying, and joined the party for real.

Hitler joined the German Worker's Party (Deutshe Arbeiterpartei) on 12 September 1919. He was by far the most charismatic speaker within, what was then, an extremely small party on the edge of the German political periphery. As a result he was quickly able to assume a powerful role within the party. He co-wrote the party's 25 point manifesto, instigated a name change to Nationalsozialistische Deutshe Arbeiterpartei and a few months later led a bloodless coup to become leader of the party.
The political party "Moja Wyspa" in the United Kingdom is a small political party. The party's political views are not widely known, but they were the lead supporter of the solidarity act in Poland.
Know nothing party
Anyone not seen as 'genetic perfection' in Adolf Hitler's views. Although he was a small man with black hair and brown eyes, he wanted a perfect race that were tall and lean with blonde hair with blue eyes. Hitler targeted political individuals that Hitler saw as a threat to his political party. He also targeted Jews, gays, blacks. Anyone that wasn't 'perfect.'

National Socialist German Workers Party. Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei Please note that modern leftists prefer to act as though the National Socialists were rightists. If a school grade is depending on this, you might not want to emphasize that the Nazis were a socialist group.
