what was the cambrian period environment like compared to the present
In the water: many of the same types of animals we see today in the waters (though not the same species): fish, shellfish, corals, etc. On land: archosaurs (reptile ancestors of dinosaurs), synapsid reptiles (reptile ancestors of mammals), lizards, crocodiles, and eventually dinosaurs, pterosaurs and mammals.Plant life included cycads, ferns, ginkos and conifers. (There were no deciduous trees, grass, or flowering plants.)
Is was humid, at least 100 degrees F to 140 F
The Jurassic period was around 100 million years ago; not only was there no "New York" city on that piece of land, it's very likely that what we think of as the North American continent had drifted - as ALL of the continents have drifted. And we cannot be even vaguely sure of how much. It's entirely possible that what we call "Long Island" did not exist in anything like its current form back then. So the question is essentially meaningless.
in the Jurassic period the atmosphere was about 14.7. in the Jurassic period the atmosphere was about 14.7.
Warmer climate
it was the same but there was a groped land
very hot <bitches must have been hot>
Marine creatures like sharks existed in the Jurassic. Marine reptiles like icthyosaurs, plesiosaurs, and thalattosuchians also existed. Thalattosuchians are fully marine reptiles.
The biggest dinosaur in the Jurassic period were the gigantic sauropods like the famous Diplodocus.
Like all dinosaurs, Stegosaurus lived in the Mesozoic era. It lived 150 million years ago. That was during the Jurassic period, the second period of the Mesozoic.
flat and even
There was a minor extinction event at the end of the Jurassic period. It was probably caused by global climate change. Dinosaurs like Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Camarasaurus, and Stegosaurus couldn't adapt to the change in temperature, so they all died out. The Cretaceous period then came after the Jurassic period had ended.
