Based on the shape of its teeth and claws, scientists believe that spinosaurus primarily fed on fish.
Yes, the spinosaurus can chase prey because if it did not it would have died before reaching adulthood and would be unable to reproduce.
Spinosaurus shared territory with other giant theropods who would rely on stealing other predators food whenever possiably.
the best type of dinosaur is spinosaurus. it had large arms, unlike t-rex. and it had a long mouth so it can kill its prey easily. and there are even results that spinosaurus is way better than t-rex. people should consider spinosaurus the king of the dinosaurs.
Spinosaurus was mainly piscivorous, as you probably know, but fish were certainly not the only food source for Spinosaurus. It was probably capable of taking down small-medium sized prey like the Iguanodont, Ouranosaurus. However, larger animals like Paralititan or Aegyptosaurus, were probably too large for Spinosaurus too take down. Even Carcharodontosaurus, which was specifically adapted for taking down large sauropods, would need help from several other members of the same species. When hunting other dinosaurs, Spinosaurus may have grappled the prey with it's huge arms then bit into the prey and thrashed it's head back and forth, using it's long neck.
It is thought by some that the spinosaurus were specialized fish eaters. While others think it was also a meat-eater.
Spinosaurus, with their long jaws, interlocking teeth, and possible pressure sensors in their jaws, were well adapted to hunt fish, their primary prey, although they probably also scavenged and hunted smaller terrestrial prey. After hatching, it is unknown whether they were raised by their parents or had to fend for themselves immediately. In either case, larger predators would have been a threat until they grew to be adults. As adults, Spinosaurus were huge, and only had a few enemies, such as Carcharodontosaurus, Bahariasaurus, and Stomatosuchus.
Spinosaurus.
spinosaurus
well i think spinosaurus claws were main weapon its survivor skill, also we look in jaws of spinosaurus, seeing good hold muscles but not strong so spinosaurus jaws was used for grip prey rather than rip or tear off flesh so he used claws to open the hard skin of dinosaurus or fishes,so i think spinosaurus would use claws in combat and jaws for holding its enemies. the answer: its claws. and its diet would mainly fish but if it wont hold that biggest carnivore it could eat smaller carnivores like rugops or baby dinosaurs.
it can be spinosaurus giganotosauru or carcharodonthosaurus
spinosaurus because it's bigger
There is no evidence of cannibalism in Spinosaurus. However, many reptiles are cannibalistic on occasion, and there is a chance that Spinosaurus was, too. If it were, however, the only cases of cannibalism would be when large Spinosaurus killed and ate the young offspring of other Spinosaurus.
