based on serial number your 1911 was made by Colt in 1919. you probably have a Springfield slide on your 1911 causing you to think it's a Springfield. Not unusual for 45's to have the wrong slide.............
1911 model pistols , by all manufactures, used serial numbers to date the manufacture date of their pistols. therefore, to obtain the date of any 1911 pistol you have to furnish a serial number.
The lower the serial number the younger the pistol is

The records I have show a Colt government model with that serial number as being made in 1914 by Springfield Armory under contract with Colt Mfg. Co.
