the middle ages didnt have a purpose. they were a time period. im not really sure when, but it was the time of knights and lords and ladies and stuff llike that.

Travel was limited in the middle ages because the roads were really holey and bumpy. Sometimes farmers ploughed the road and carts couldn't get past. They did not have suspension either so the travel wasnt very comfy and relaxed like it is now a days.
