If gravity suddenly disappeared, the moon would fly out into space in a straight line. If the moon suddenly stopped moving it would fall straight into Earth.
newton discovered gravity.. he was curious to know the reason behind the falling apple from the tree
Gravity from the sun causes Saturn to revolve around the sun while its gravity is the reason it has moons, rings and matter making it up.
I believe the reason behind using specific gravity is that it is easier to measure (especially when you're measuring it for a solid).
No, there's always a reason; people just don't drop dead, aside from SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).
One main reason is the gravity a dense object like a terrestial planet has. As gravity depends on the density of a object and a rocky planet has much density...our earth is the densest object in the solar system but Jupiter's gravity is more as gravity depends upon size too. The gravity holds the gases forming the atmosphere. Another reason is the core which has a magnetic effect and forms a magnetic layer which has some effect on the atmospheric gases and saves it from going away to the space by attracting the gases towards the pole where the gravity is the highest.
Not really. It's more like this tendency is explained with the word "inertia". This says nothing about the reason.
The reason that Noonan and Earhart disappeared is not known. Earhart disappeared on July 2, 1937.
inertial mass is the measure of the object's inertia i.e; if an object has less inertial mass ,then it changes its motion readily. if it has more inertial mass ,then, it does not change its motion readily. gravitational mass is of 2 types. active and passive.active gravitational mass is something like.... u see, active gravitational mass of moon < active gravitational mass of earth. and passive gravitational mass is the measure of the strength of the object's interaction with the gravitational field.
The reason object move around space is inertia. Take the moon and Earth for example, gravity makes the moon stay close to the Earth, and inertia makes the moon circle (or revolve, or orbit) around the Earth in a circular motion. the path it takes is called its orbit.
No reason at all
It's not the only reason, but the same force will produce less acceleration in a body with more inertia.
Gravity.
The question is too general to answer.A "motion" is 'legal-speak' for a formal request made to the court. Depending on what the motion is about it may be worded MANY different ways.
No. They orbit Earth; and the reason they orbit is because of gravity.
There are several reasons why the English or field sparrow has disappeared from Michigan. One reason that the English Sparrow has almost completely disappeared is because it is being ran off by the white bellied swallow.
We're on a spinning ball. Everything along the equator is going around at about 1040 mph. The law of inertia wants all moving objects to move in a straight line, but the earth is curved. It's kind of like that spinny thing at the playground. The earth's gravity keeps you from being flung into space. Without that inertia, gravity would be slightly higher, like it is at the poles. BTW, the reason satellites stay in orbit is they're balanced between falling and flinging, so to speak.
We have no reason to think that the force of gravity has or ever will become weaker over time.
