They wanted to "blow" the US so they could invade and take over. This is when the US joined the Allied Powers.
Well, for Japan it was wonderful because they wiped a lot of our Navy in one attack. But it also got us involved in WWII, which inevitably wasn't good for Japan. From what I have been taught, the US let Japan attack, which gave the US a reason to join the war. It indirectly led to the end of Hitler's reign and all of Europe, Japan, and the US became Allies.
planes
Germany did NOT want to fight the US. The US needed a cause (reason) to declare war on Germany. Germany was NOT going to enrage the US. The ONLY reason Germany declared war on the US on December 11, 1941 was because Germany was hoping that Japan would reciprocate the favor and attack the USSR (Russia). Germany helps Japan; Japan helps Germany...TRIPARTITE PACT.
To end the War World II well the eastern front part (U.S vs. Japan)
to attack japan.
in the year 1945
there wasnt really a conflict that caused Japan to attack the US. the US was not at war with Japan until after Pearl Harbor, in which the Japanese were the aggressors.
After the bombing of Pearl Harbor the US declared war on Japan and on the Central Powers.
To keep the US from interferring with their other conquests.
they sunk are ships and we attacked them
They wanted to take it over. Because of the attack, it caused us to enter the war. Japan refused to give up, no matter what we did, so we had to drop two atomic bombs on Japan. The first one was called Little Boy and the second one was called Fat Man.
Japan thought that the US was going to attack them so Japan attacked us first even though we were not going to attack them. And pearl harbor ended when Japan ran out of planes on there carriers.
