Japan in turn sent valuble metals (taken from conquered countries) to Germany via Japanese submarines. German and Japanese subs exchanged food, beverages, and war information while conducting operations in the Indian ocean (south of India and west of Australia).

I believe at the start of WW2 the Allies were the French Republic, the Polish government and the British Empire. The Axis were Germany, Austria and Hungary.
Later on, others joined each side (the Axis picked up Romania, Italy, Japan and Bulgaria) The Allies picked up Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Norway...the US joined the allies in late 1941. found jew camps
