That's the "Toccata & Fugue" in D minor (BWV 565). It's an organ work presumably composed by Bach in his youth (before 1710). It has some uncharacteristic features that made some scholars think it maybe was not composed by Bach, but now he is believed to have it composed for the violin, and then it passed to the organ.
It's probably the best known of all Bach organ works -featuring in many movies as the "evil tune"- which is curious since it is quite untypical of the Bach style.

The sound track consist of 3 CD's and the 'Main Title' is the first track on CD one and CD Three. When the name of 'Main Title' is used it normally means the title is the name of the movie. For example the 'Mission Impossible' theme music is again on the sound track called 'Main Title' but it is known as the song 'Mission Impossible' Same thing applies here for the movie 'The Great Escape'.
