Before passage of the U. S. Constitution's 26th Amendment, the minimum voting age had always been 21.
the 14th amendment is voting based on race, the 26th amendment is the voting age is set to 18 years of age and the 19th amendment is women's suffrage. So, there are 3 amendments having to do with voting.
The 14th amendment was nessacary because even though the 13th abolished slavery southerns were still stopping black people from voting so the 14th punished anyone that stopped them from voting. :)

It was not the fourteenth amendment that specifically gave blacks voting rights. It is the 15th. The 14th gave citizenship and citizenship rights.
