The constitutional convention was held in the summer and they shut all the doors of Independence hall so it will be held in secret. to sum it all up, it was blazing hot a sweaty (especially considering that don't have deodorant)
It was hot because it was summertime. In 1787, men's wordrobes were basically long coats and white wigs, which probably made the delegates of the constitution hot or overheated. Because of what they wore, the delegates were most likely sticky, sweaty, and uncomfortable when they went outside that day.
probably nice considering it was in the summer. ----

The constitutional convention was actually only supposed to fix the Articles of Confederation, the actual first government of the United states. The Articles of Confederation was weak. The new constitution was becoming strong. Anti-federalists were afraid that the goverment would become to controlling like Englands was at the time.
