Many people may refuse to watch movies like 'Peter Pan' simply because they are known globally to be childrens stories. However, if you think about this realistically, 'Peter Pan' was probably never intended to be just for children, as the original book wasn't written in a childish way at all. True, the Disney movie was made to be a childrens story, but no 'Peter Pan' stories before that ever were. This proves that the original story was never meant to be just for children. Now think about the 2003 live-action film. It has been categorized as a PG, so it's clearly not supposed to be watched by very young children, unlike the Disney version. 'Peter Pan' is therefore not just a childrens story, only a great story.
