She wasn't executed at Tower Green as most of the condemned were, but on a scaffold raised at the north side of the White Tower. She was killed with a sword instead of an axe. Since the executions with axes are clumpsy and causes the victim pain a educated swordsman from France was hired to execute her with a sword. The King didn't want her to be in pain.

She was executed on 19th May 1536 on a scaffold erected outside the White Tower of the Tower of London, opposite what is now Waterloo Barracks.

Henry VIII failed to provide a proper funeral for her- she was buried in an unmarked grave in the churchyard of St.Peter ad Vincula, the official church of the Tower of London.

During renovation work in Victorian times, her remains were identified and exhumed, and she now rests in a tomb inside the chapel beneath a marble slab.
