It's not so much the website as it is the Class of Airgun/Rifles that are expensive. I am referring to the most powerful and expensive airguns around. These are known as PCP's (PreCharged Pneumatic) air rifles. This class of air rifles are used in the Olympics (Cost around $3.000) or for hunting medium to large game. Most pellet guns or rifles fire a .177, .20 or .22 caliber pellet. PCP's can fire up to 9mm, 45 cal, 357, or 50 cal. These are extremely big boar air rifles.
see the links below for the air gun sites
It depends on the model and the caliber of the Pellet gun.
You will most likely just pass it.
Depends on the pellet gun, the distance, and the game laws where you live. Most pellet guns should not be used to hunt anything bigger than a squirrel. They do not have enough energy for a humane kill.
In most cases it will be a BB gun. But Pellet guns exceed both the BB and the airsoft guns. Pellet guns can attain speeds over 1200 FPS.
I think you mean pellet gun. That is a gun that fires a small lead pellet but does not use gun powder. It uses compressed air or compressed gasses to push the pellet.
If it's a pellet gun them most pellet guns are capable of killing a squirrel. Check the FPS (Feet per Second) and if it's over 400 FPS that should be sufficient. Expect to pay $60 and up for a pellet gun. Crosman makes an excellent pellet gun that is rated at 610 FPS Called the American Classic and it cost $70. I also suggest using Hunting (Hollow point pellets) these will be the most effective.
A pellet gun is not adequate for protection, and will get you arrested.
It all depends on the model and who made the pellet gun. I suggest that you re-post the queston with the model and make of the pellet gun to get an answer.
Any pellet gun should be handled like a real firearm. Yes you can be killed with a pellet gun under the right circumstances.
In most states, you just have to be 18 years old.
Yes but it takes a special type of pellet gun not your normal every day pellet gun. The model I an referring to are in the class of PCP (PreCharged Pneumatic) air rifles. These rifles require a special pump or scuba tank to charge them to 3000 PSI and are capable of firing large pellets up to 50 caliber and can bring down a deer or boar. these rifles are also much more expensive than the average pellet gun or rifle.
In most cases, you can survive a pellet gun shot, but it will be painful, or worse. If you are hit just right (or wrong) you could die, so don't treat it lightly.
