www.howtodrawmanga.com is a really good site. There are interactive ones, too. I think I've got the site correct, at the top it should say ''Manga 'University'. You can download the tutorials too, but i think they cost a litttle money.
I'm an anime freak, but I first got into it by drawing it. I learned from mostly books and websites. Just type "How to draw anime" in Google or something and a good tutorial will come up. Also, there are some good how to draw anime books in barnes and noble. I suggest Chris Hart books, he's awesome.

There are a couple of ways to draw a donkey's face sideways. One way is to draw it normal and turn it sideways.
Pretear is LIKE it but it's not the anime version of it. It is basically a girl suddenly has powers and Knights in way that help her out although she has about 6 i think instead of 4
I would recommend Rave Master (or Groove Adventure Rave in Japan), or InuYasha. These are both a good way to get used to the way anime storylines work. Then, I suggest you move on to shows with darker themes like Fullmetal Alchemist or Blood+.
Well I recommend you watch the anime ouran high school host club if your looking for an anime with a girl who pretends to be a boy. Try Ouran High School Host Club (anime and manga, I loved it), Hana Kimi (manga), Strawberry Eggs (manga), Pretty Face (manga), Kedamono Damono (manga).

Well it is very simple whem i started learning how to draw anime it was really hard for me but the way i learned was to look at a picture and try to draw it and of corse it may some out bad at first but its because it was the first try so eventually when you draw that picture you start to get the feel of the drawing and eventually you can make up your own characters and your own really cool hairstyles. hope that helps you out
