For a 10-year-old (or a person of any age) weight is related to height and body composition rather than age. For more information about weight in relation to height, and to see charts showing the distribution of weights and heights of children at various ages, please see the page link, further down this page, listed under Related Questions. Alternatively, please feel free to ask the question again and include more detail.
I'm 11 years of age and I am 5'2. I weight 88.4 pounds. I am an active, healthy, female. The average weight is about 92.5 pounds. This may very for a male. And, for our age, does it really matter? I mean, don't be as big as a house, but don't starve yourself to death!! -Joanna
There really is no "average". A healthy weight is where you can see your toes over your stomach and feel good when/after you exercise. Im 5'3 and i weigh 100 lbs. But everyone is built differently, so never feel "fat" or "big" just cause someone else weighs less then you, because everyone is special in their very own way.
Actually your not most kids your age are that weight because they go through changes but also kids your age desire to loose weight and be skinny in a short period of time, its possible all you have to do is drink lots of water and i mean it, watch what you eat like not fatty or sugary foods. Sodium is a big no and water will flush out the salt also the main key is to exercise alot you might exercise and complain that is to much and boring but doing it everyday with your mp3 will help alot. Hope this helped!:)
est grandemeans is big or is large.Elle est grande. She is big (or it is big [if the noun is feminine])
The quality or state of being significant., That which is signified; meaning; import; as, the significance of a nod, of a motion of the hand, or of a word or expression., Importance; moment; weight; consequence.
There are a few positive connotations of being overweight. One is that the person knows how to cook for their family.
this depends. if you are the type of person who is big boned or have big muscles, then 139 pounds is not obese for you. however, if you don't have a lot of muscles or are not big boned, then you are most likely i bit obese.
It really depends on your body build. You may be big boned and very muscular, or small boned with very little muscle mass. This really effects your weight, but does not mean you are overweight or underweight. Using a BMI (body mass index) calculator, you can determine your ideal weight, but this does not take into account your body build.
define 'big boned'? Jocks? You need a guy more 'big boned' than you are.
A quick guide to proper weight is the Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI=weight in kilos/(height in meters)2 BMIs of 18-25 are normal. 25-30 is overweight. >30 is obese. Your BMI is about 28. It's something that can be controlled through a balanced diet and regular exercise.
fat - you look big . sorry but i don`t know about big boned .
I think that is a good weight. For your height, that sounds proportional. It sounds right to me! If you are big boned no. If you are medium boned you could be that or up to 145 lbs., or small boned it's the correct weight. I'm 5' 6" tall and small-boned and 135 lbs. would be right on for me, but unfortunately, I have to shed about 20 lbs., and I'm in the midst of doing so. LOL
the last answer was very rude the person who said that should like about that again that is just being a bully (their answer was yes, and you are fat.) to answer this question, you are about 10 pounds overweight but actually it depends on your age and if you are big boned or small boned anyway if you want to lose weight you need to watch what you eat and also exerice everyday but if you are really busy try to work out every other day then you would lose enough weight so good luck
about 95-145 pounds is a reasonable weight amount for your heavy bones and your height.
It sounds to me like you have a good healthy weight for your height. If you're big-boned, you have, quite literally, larger bones, meaning that you will naturally weigh more than most people your height and age. If you want an example, I'm 14, and 5'11," and I only weight 125 pounds, but I have big bones. It runs in my family, and part of the way you can tell is that I have big hands and feet, and a big rib cage. But back to the question, I think your weight is fine, and you shouldn't be smaller. You want to be big-boned. It makes you look larger.
no
"Big boned" is a polite way of saying overweight. The size of one's bones has no effect on whether you are skinny or fat. Anyway. If your stomach isn't flat, if part of you hangs over your jeans, if something jiggles when you walk... then you are too heavy.
