Their were many Native American tribes that lived in Mexico before Europeans came. One of the most famous and powerful were the Aztecs. Others included the Mayans, Olmacs, Toltec, Jumanos, and many more.
In addition, the Mayan Civilization fell and the Aztec conquered many smaller and weaker tribes/groups of Native Americans hundreds of years before Europeans arrived.
