There were key differences between the South and the North prior to the beginning of the US Civil War. Here are some of them:
* The North had a developed, ongoing Federal government, and the South had to build one basically from scratch;
* The North was a recognized nation throughout the world, while the South was trying to become one;
* The North had an industrialized economy plus farmlands . This enabled them to produce food and weapons for the war. The South's economy was based on agriculture. The number of its factories was very small in relation to those of the North;
* The difference in sizes of population were dramatic. The North had over 23 million people from which to draw forces for an army. In the South, the population was around 9 million with almost 4 million of them slaves; and
* Although the North's navy was small, the South had no official warships. Each would build navies, however, the North had safe shipyards to build vessels, while the South did not.
Lincoln was president when the Civil War started and towards the end before he was assassinated, but it's not entirely accurate to say that Lincoln "started" the war. It was caused fundamentally by civil unrest between the north and south of the U.S. The secessionists fired the first shots, at Fort Sumter.
One of the obvious differences between the North and the South during the U.S. Civil War was that the North was anti-slavery and the South was pro-slavery.

They had nine million people before the civil war started, meanwhile the North had twenty two million people
It didn't. Both sides wanted peace. Nobody wanted war, except Lincoln. Lincoln tricked the South into firing the first shot and that started the war.
Religious differences.
The Civil War started because of uncompromising differences between the free and slave states over the power of the national government to prohibit slavery in the territories that had not yet become states
Difference between Public Corporation and Civil Service
It was all one government - the Southern states still sent representatives to Congress.

Well from my enormous amount of research I have found that the civil liberties that were in current form before 9/11, are now stricter.
one is south and one is north
one is south and one is north
A revolution is a fight between a government and its people. A civil war is a war between people against people within the country.
No. There was war in China between communists and republicans before the Cold War, in fact the civil war in China started before World War II even.
