Hitler never tried to create a world empire. His goal was limited to unifying the Germanic areas of Europe.
Hitler believed that the Aryan race, basically the German race, was superior. He also believed that the Jews were the reason why Germany lost world war 1 and the effects from the Treaty of Versailles. At Versailles, they ended world war 1 and Germany was blamed completely for World War 1, had to pay for any land damages in the Allies, had to pay 6 billion dollars to the Allies, and they had restrictions on their military. This would make anyone mad. Hitler also hated gypsies, Slavics, disabled, terminally ill, homosexuals and many others but he hated Jews the most. At first Hitler just wanted to get them out of Germany. Then he dedicated cities for them to be put in and the overcrowded areas where they starved were called Ghettos. He eventually decided to kill them by shooting. That was too costly and slow so he poisoned them. So basically he thought Aryans were the best and everything else should die, and he blamed Jews for their loss in World War 1.
