Plains farmers faced massive hardships that were mostly based on climate. Summers were extremely hot and dry while winters were brutal and long.
Lark of fertilizers, lack of seeds and floods were some of the hardships that the plains farmers faced.

the dust bowl. killed off buffalo, no more buffalo no more fertilizer no more grass no more rain or moisture content in the air. no more roots, nothing to hold down the topsoil so it just started blowing all over the place depositing dirt on grass (which killed it) making the plains into a dirt desert.

the first problem was the weather. in summer the ants and the grasshopper's came along and ate the clothes , grass and other stuff in their way. the other problem was that they were not good not hunting and the soil at that place was weak because of which there were no grown vegetables and fruits.
