The positive was : That they had something that they could type on, before they had to do it by hand and you could not read their hand writing most of the time. It also made it so they got their writing done faster. It increased communications, they didn't have to go that far to deliver there writings.

The negative : They didn't have internet, It was very hard to back and correct what they did. Also you couldn't print copies. You have to manually type every copy over and over again, until you get the amount of copies you want. The type writer wasn't really portable.

Positive: The invention of the typewriter between 1700-1850 revolutionized written communication, making it faster and more efficient than handwritten documents, leading to increased productivity in offices and businesses.

Negative: The typewriter created challenges for traditional scribes and calligraphers, whose skills were becoming less in demand, and also contributed to a rise in repetitive stress injuries among typists due to prolonged use of the machine.
