The continental Coastlines fit together like puzzle pieces, fossils, and glacier Grover in warm places
Thomson had two pieces of evidence: 1- No matter what metal he used for the disk, the particles produced were indentical. 2- The particles had about 1/2000 the mass of a hydrogen, the lightest atom. These experiments provided the first evidence that atoms are made of even smaller particles.
List three pieces of evidence that support the idea that the Dust Bowl was “the worst hard time.”
Based on an apparent fit between Africa and South America Wegener hypothesized that at one time all continents were joined together in a "subcontinent" called Pangaea. The super-continent eventually broke into the smaller continental. which then "drifted" towards their present positions. Wegener supported his hypothesis by using circumstantial evidence, similar to the way that a detective would collect. evidence to solve a crime. There are four lines of evidence:

The 3 pieces of evidence is: 1. fossils 2. climate 3. glaciers Wegner found out that the same fossils were found on a different continent. There was this tropical plant (i forgot whats it called) was found at a icy cold region so then the plant couldn't grow there only by continental drift. The glaciers have scratches on them which was one of the evidence. I hope this really helped :D

1. The continents look like puzzle pieces that should fit together (maybe they did in the past). 2. Fossils and geographic layers found on the coast lines of continents (especially South America and Africa) matched up.
Alfred Wegener's theory was known as the theory of continental drift.
Early maps of the world caused Alfred Wegner to propose the Continental Drift Theory. The continents looked as though they might fit together like puzzle pieces. The original supercontinent was named Pangaea by Wegner. In Greek, "pan" mean ALL, and "gea" means EARTH. There is also fossil evidence, and climatic evidence.Fossil Evidence:-Similar fossils occur in various locations around the world.-Mesosauras (a freshwater reptile) fossils are only found in South America, and Africa.-Other fossils are found throughout the Southern Hemisphere.Climatic Evidence:-When glaciers advance or retreat they mark the land.-Evidence of glaciers were found in parts of Africa and India.-If all continents were close to the South Pole, Glaciation is possible.
One of the best pieces of evidence supporting the giant impact hypothesis for lunar genesis is the rock samples collected by the Apollo missions. These rocks show the same oxygen isotope ratios as the Earth. In addition, the lunar surface was once a molten ocean; the energy required could have been delivered by a massive impact.
