The Navajo traditional religion, Native American Church (NAC), and very many Christian domination's such as Catholic, Presbyterian, Four Square Gospel, Pentecostal, LDS, Dutch Reform and many others.

Today about 1/3 are NAC, 1/3 are Christan and 1/3 traditional only. However many people follow traditional religion as well as another so that number is much more like 2/3s. There are 300,000 Navajo.

The religion of the Navajo is a complex system system of 60 chantways that are designed to restore balance, harmony, health and happiness. Many last multiple days, take place in a hogan, sometimes include sandpaintings, chants, herbs, dance, songs, mythic stories told, prayers, blessing with pollen and they are led by a Hataałii (like a priest but often called a medicine man) who has studied for years to know the ceremonies exactly and by heart. The central concept in the religion are hózhǫ́ and k'é.
