Well there was one city in particular that 2 gods wanted to control, both Poseidon and Athena. Athens was the most beautiful city in all of Greece, and both minor and major gods wished to control Athens. Poseidon gave the city an unlimited supply of water, including the hot, dry summers, and the cold, frozen winters. But it was as salty as the sea itself. So Athena gave Athens instead, Radishes. Another city favored not by a god, but a demi-god. Hercules favored Sparta for their strength and courage.
The Greek gods were worshiped in all ancient Greek cities.
Athens was Athena
Greek artists favorite subject was the human body.
Being mythological gods, the Greek Gods could see more colours than the humans they made so we do not have a name for Zeus's favorite color.
Apollo in Greek mythology was a God- the Gods ate ambrosia, the 'Food of the Gods'.

Dionysus was fond of grapes, but otherwise the gods only ate ambrosia, which was not a fruit.
