What was the mongol military strategy?

The Mongols focused on using cavalry archers in the beginning of their conquest. Because the steppe nomads incorporated horseback and archery into everyday lives, the Mongol archers were more skilled than those of other nations. In addition to this, the archers used composite bows that were stronger than the British longbow and different arrow tips were used for different types of enemy soldiers. The Mongol cavalry archers usually charged at the enemy until they were within firing range, and then turned back. Using the Parthian shot (turning backwards on the horse and shooting), the Mongols were able to inflict serious damage. When charging, the Mongol soldiers were silent until close, where they suddenly yelled, causing brief psychological damage. Another tactic was to retreat and draw the enemy into a chase. Because the steppe horses had great stamina, the enemy usually tired out, and the Mongols could then fire arrows. When the Mongols conquered a nation, they conscripted the men and made them the vanguard. The vanguard took the initial force of a war, while the Mongol elites waited until the enemy resources ran out. If the conquered nation had skilled engineers, the Mongols incorporated the new siege weapons into their strategies. The most infamous tactic of the Mongols was massacring an entire city to make other cities surrender. Through the use of exaggerating the death amount, the Mongols were able to conserve resource and achieve conquest through a shorter amount of time.

Why does money cause war?

Well to get to the heart of the question you have to understand what money is and how it came into being. Once upon a time every body lived as hunter gathers they lived in family pacts eat any animal they caught, built their own homes and picked fruit or vegetables. Then they found fertile soil and domesticated animals and created agriculture and breed animals for food (which is an easier way of living) other families saw this and did the same and became nomads, eventually all the tribes realise that the crops of one of the tribes is better than theirs, they decide to join his tribe and make him king, the king allows other farmers to grow there crops on his soil, now this is the building blocks of a civilision. Now say one of the population is hungry and asks one of the many shepherds for food, the shepherd asks what he will get in return and asks the man for grain in exchange, (now this is called trade) but what if the doesn't have grain with him at the moment so he gives him an IOU, (this is dept money) say the same scenario happens the next day but the shepherd doesn't want grain he wants a cow. What is the man to do he cant give him a cow or even an IOU of a cow so he gives to the shepherd grain or an IOU and tells him to trade that with someone else who has a cow, eventually it circulates around the civilsion and encourages trade and work because the money now stands for a promise that the bearer can exchange it for whatever he wants, eventually it is circulated to the king who uses it to make him, his advisers and capitalist rich and then he pumps it back into the system. Now the governments money goes to trading with other civilisions (or you might prefer to call them countries) that have materials that can make his citizens lives happier e.g. (silk, food, bricks, oil, ect...) they can also give material for money to countries. Now lets call the country were talking about C1 and the country its trading with C2, C1 population has increased this causes deflation (to many people not enough money) or there is to much money not enough people (inflation) or there short on material, if C2 won't trade with them anymore during these possible problems there is little chose but to invade, this is usually the cause of war and things like religious reasons are only excuses to get more participation from the population. Now when invading they have two chooses for what to do with C2, they could colonize the country which is basically robbing it of land and resources, or you could keep their sovereignty after you've defeated them, but they must pay you reparations and must trade with you on fair terms for the rest of its existence, trade is very important think of it this way if C1's money doesn't mean anything to C2 it starts to mean nothing to the people of C1 and the society might collapse and a civil war for control of the country might happen. Also some wars happen because of over population and the land of their nabour looks irresistible and the land is perfect for agriculture to build a bigger society.
