Your mom should know considering she is that old
Social classes can be seen as a pyramid. At the bottom the lowest social classes, and at the top the highest social classes. The ones lowest on this social class pyrmaid of the 1960's were the slaves. They had no rights or freedom, and therefore they were the lowest. One step higher up were the hippies, still not much rights but they were treated better than the slaves. Then there were the low paying workers, that had a job but got very little money. Next there was the middle class. Normal people that had a good job and got enough payed, like you and I. One step higher were the high paying workers, that got a lot of money from their job. But even better was the government which was on top of everything.
Interesting. Australia have come closest to managing this feat, as most of them were descended from the same criminal classes. Hence the greeting 'G'day, mate', which sets both parties as equals.
Just like any other country, Israel has an upper class, middle class, and lower class, primarily defined by economics.
The 1930s were a period of large cultural shifts in America and abroad. In the wake of the Great Depression and World War I, the decade saw the development of public works projects in America, catastrophes like the Dust Bowl and the rise of fascism in Europe. The 1930s also contained much of the presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the beginning of "Hollywood's Golden Age."The Great DepressionThe Great Depression began in 1929, but mainly occurred in the 1930s. In the wake of the stock market crash of October 29, 1929 (now known as "Black Tuesday", the world economy experienced a period of turmoil that would continue until the start of World War II. In America, unemployment rose to 25 percent, stocks were devalued and businesses closed down. Poverty was widespread and President Herbert Hoover's attempts to stop the economic downturn all failed.FDRFranklin Delano Roosevelt began his presidency in 1932, promising a "New Deal" that would put Americans back to work. Under FDR, many social projects began, including the Works Progress Administration (WPA). This program aimed to recruit civilians for large-scale public works projects, including highways and firehouses. This period also saw the establishment of the Tennessee Valley Authority, which dealt with flooding and power creation in the southeastern United States. The Roosevelt Administration also sponsored federal programs for artists, which funded artists including Jackson Pollock. The Dust BowlAnother major issue in the 1930s was the Dust Bowl in the central plains. This long-lasting drought displaced millions of farmers and led to a large westward migration. Many farmers and their families went to California and the federal government created many new agencies and emergency funds to assist dispossessed farmers and their families, including the Emergency Farm Mortgage Act. In the wake of the Dust Bowl, many new farming practices were implemented to prevent future cataclysmic droughts, including planting trees and digging furrows.Hitler and MussoliniIn the 1930s, Nazism and Fascism took root in Germany and Italy, which produced some social improvements, but also created dictatorships and led to World War II. In Germany in particular, the growth of the Nazi party in the 1930s led to Germany withdrawing from the League of Nations and then invading Poland in 1939, beginning the war. While Italy did not enter the war until 1940, Benito Mussolini was in place as a dictator throughout the 1930s.
Basically, fatigued after WWII and keen to build a new way of life by rejecting the tired politics of the 1930s.
Bad
it was hard for black people
the pooed there pants EVERY day
Hard and under payed.
The 1930s was the Great Depression. Jobs were hard to find. Food was scarce because of the dustbowl. Banks were unstable.
Yes the two are very similar.
there was, there are and will be like at all other places
i think it is the peasants like in Egypt's social classes.
The shape that would best represent a diagram of Egypt's social classes would be a triangle. This is because the pharaoh is at the top and then a few nobles underneath then the large amount of workers.
In order for your question to be answered, you need to include a time period in your question, such as "in colonial America" or "in the 1930s," something like that.
They were different becuase each class did something different
Not sure if "classes" is the right word, it's more like "subjects." There are 5: reading, writing, math, science & social studies.
